PEARLAND I.S.D.-PEARLAND SECONDARY SCHOOL Pearland, Texas

Award-winning secondary school with 7th and 8th grade core capacity of 1,000 students, and the 9th grade center has a 1,700 student core capacity. The facilities include a 24,000 square foot auditorium and events center, resource/media center, athletic center, 4-gym complex with 2 competition and 2 practice gyms, and a new 37,040 square foot agriculture building and pavilion.

HOUSTON I.S.D.-HARTMAN MIDDLE SCHOOL Houston, Texas

Project Size: 180,000 square feet
Replacement of an existing 1500-student middle school. To meet HISD standards for natural light, the classrooms are arranged in 2-story wings with steel composite second floors and bar joist roofs. The tall 1-story spaces of the gym, library and commons were framed in steel. Special detailing was required where new buildings connect to an existing gym and auditorium.
SPLENDORA I.S.D.- SPLENDORA HIGH SCHOOL Splendora, Texas

Project Size: 162,841 square feet
New high school facility includes classrooms, a gym, an auditorium, a cafetorium, a learning resource center, a band room and a central plant. The structure is steel framed with exterior brick veneer. The initial capacity of the school is 1000 students and master planned for future expansion of about 500 more students.

Project Size: 70,000 square feet
New 35,000 square foot "Crum Field House" completed in 2000. The field house contains a huge gym, fitness center, locker room, training rooms, visiting team locker rooms, a nurse's office and classroom space; and new 35,000 square foot Learning Resource Center with tall glass entry and tower. The Center contains the new "Underwood Library" with state-of-the-art communication system, a technical theater construction area and maintenance offices.
